Santa Farma is the pharmaceutical company with the largest number of jogging participants attending the 40th Vodafone Istanbul Marathon Event

The corporate jogging team of Santa Farma raised funds for the project “You Can Change Their Lives!” organized by Turkey’s Alzheimer Association at the 40th Vodafone Istanbul Marathon Event. With its a total of 97 jogging participants, Santa Farma became the pharmaceutical company with the largest number of joggers attending the 40th Vodafone Istanbul Marathon Event, and occupied the third place among all corporations in this category. 



Being one of the oldest pharmaceutical companies of Turkey, and regarding the "human sensitivity" as one of its core values, Santa Farma's corporate jogging team ran at the 40th Vodafone Istanbul Marathon Event for he purpose of raising funds for the project “You Can Change Their Lives!” organized by Turkey’s Alzheimer Association. 97 employees of Santa Farma managed to raise funds in a total sum of TL 34,274 through the Step by Step Platform. 


Santa Farma became the second pharmaceutical company to reach the highest number of donators. The amount of donations raised by Santa Farma employees shall be transferred to the project “You Can Change Their Lives!” organized by Turkey’s Alzheimer Association. Turkey’s Alzheimer Association has collected donations in the total sum of TL 314.329 as part of the campaign. 


What is the project “You Can Change Their Lives!” organized by Turkey’s Alzheimer Association?


There are 650,000 Alzheimer's patients in our country and one person is diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease every 4 seconds in the world. In the Daytime Living House, Alzheimer patients are provided with rehabilitation services, and also counselling and psychological support is provided in order to improve the quality of life of their patients and their relatives and to relieve their burden. The donations raised within the scope of this project will be transferred to Daytime Living Houses.
