The first concrete output of the works performed by "B20 Employment Taskforce" to which Chairman of Santa Farma and Vice President of The Turkish Confederation of Employer Associations (TISK) Mr. Erol Kiresepi is also a member, has become the "GAN" (Global Apprenticeship Network). The unemployment of the young population has become the foremost priority of all G20 countries. In this respect, as a solution to unemployment among the young, which has increased substantially with the global crises, GAN was established by BIAC (Business and Industry Advisory Committee) with support of ILO within the framework of the IOE (International Organization of Employers) and OECD, for the ultimate purposes of increasing employment of the young population through encouraging the firms to train the young and offering them hands-on training on the job. The first national application of Global Apprenticeship Network was established in Turkey under the leadership of TISK. The "Conference for Improvement of Quality Hands-on Training" organized with cooperation of "G20-OECD, and "GAN Turkey Network Inauguration and Signing Ceremony" was staged on February 25, 2015 in Antalya. The employers have become a hope for unemployed young for finding a job, whose number has exceeded 74 million worldwide and reached to 1 million in Turkey. With the signing ceremony organized after the conference, GAN Principles were signed by the executives of 21 participant firms, among which also were Santa Farma. "GAN Turkey" aims at increasing the employment of young by facilitating their passage from educational life to working life. With this step forward, Turkey has become the first-ever country establishing a national network in hands-on training during Turkey's 2015 G20 Presidency.
