Santa Farma, one of the most deep-rooted and robust domestic pharmaceutical companies in Turkey, increased its turnover from 440 million to 620 million in 2019 which marks a growth by 41 per cent in comparison to the previous year. Hence, the company achieved its sales targets by 100 per cent as it succeeded in fulfilling its mission to outgrow the market.

Operating in 11 distinct therapeutic categories including dermatology, digestive system and metabolism, gastroenterology and infection, and hematology with totally 63 products supplied to 45 different markets, Santa Farma increased its turnover by 41 per cent in 2019.

Continuing its growth based on its mission to offer healthy services to healthcare since its incorporation and recognized as one of the most deep-rooted and robust domestic pharmaceutical companies in Turkey, Santa Farma achieved its sales targets by 100 per cent 2019.

Mr Erol Kiresepi, Chairman and CEO of Santa Farma, announced the figures for 2019 and explained the targets for 2020-2024 during the year-end meeting. Mr Kiresepi noted that the company will enrich its product range with new products on chronic diseases, cardiology and diabetes in three years to come before he went on to underline that the management intends to increase the corporate turnover to TRY 1 billion in 2024 (based on fixed prices for 2019).  

Set to become one of top three companies in export

Mr Kiresepi noted that one of the corporate objectives is to make Santa Farma as one of the top three companies in terms of industrial export volume in addition to positioning Santa Farma as the most preferred company in 2024 and underlined that projects are underway to create the infrastructure necessary for achieving those objectives.
