Santa Farma, one of the most deep-rooted and powerful pharmaceutical companies in Turkey, announced appointment of 2 new directors on April 1, 2021.

Santa Farma has appointed Gürbüz Ercenk as the Sales Director and Pınar Gökçen as the Medical Director.

Who is Gürbüz Ercenk?

Having graduated from Adapazarı Trade High School in 1991, he obtained his Bachelor’s Degrees from Department of Abkhaz Language and Literature at Abkhazia State University and from Department of Public Administration, Faculty of Economics at Anadolu University. Currently, he is pursuing his studies for MBA degree at Bahçeşehir University. Mr Ercenk started his professional career as a “Foreign Trade Officer” at Erma İç ve Dış Tic. Ltd. Şti. in 1997. After joining the pharmaceutical industry in 1998, he acted as a “Medical Sales Representative”, “Regional Field Force Supervisor” , “Regional Sales and Administration Supervisor”, “Assistant Sales Manager” and “Sales Manager” respectively at Santa Farma İlaç Sanayii A.Ş. Gürbüz Ercenk, who has been assigned as the Sales Director as of April 1, 2021, is recognized for initiating and conducting various leading projects which turned out to be milestones for unprecedented developments and innovations.

Who is Pınar Gökçen?

Having completed her high school education at İzmir Bornova Anatolian High School in 2004, she graduated from Faculty of Medicine at Eskişehir Osmangazi University in 2011. After starting career as a medical doctor in Şanlıurfa in 2011, she worked at several hospitals in Istanbul for 4 years. Having joined Santa Farma as a Medical Manager in 2014, Pınar Gökçen was assigned as a Product Manager in 2016 before she assumed the role of Group Medical Manager in 2017. Ms Gökçen, who has been assigned as the Medical Director as of April 1, 2021, has initiated and conducted several innovative projects throughout her career.
