Özge Yavuz Öztürk Named as the New Director of Santa Farma OTC Division

Santa Farma, a prominent domestic pharmaceutical company in Turkey, assigns Özge Yavuz Öztürk as the Director of Over The Counter (OTC) Division following an investment decision in February


Over The Counter (OTC) market is known grow considerably thanks to the rising popularity of the products both domestically and globally over the recent years. Intending to transfer its know-how in pharmaceuticals to OTC products, Santa Farma has begun to take steps to penetrate into the market. In order to make new achievements in OTC industry OTC industry with its 75 years of experience, Santa Farma has assigned Özge Yavuz Öztürk as the Director of this new division. Öztürk will be in charge of OTC strategy of Santa Farma.


Having started her professional career in Procter&Gamble, Wella Professionals, Öztürk assumed the positions of “Assistant Brand Manager”, “Brand Manager” and “Category Brand Manager” respectively. After her transfer to GlaxoSmithKline, she acted as the “Senior Brand Manager” and “Group Brand Manager” at Oral Care and OTC categories for Consumer Health respectively. In 2014, Öztürk was assigned as the “Marketing Manager” to establish Merck Consumer Health where she worked as the “Division Director” and “Global Brand Development Director”. Following the merger of Merck and P&G, she continued to act as the “Global Brand Development Director” of Procter&Gamble till late January 2020.
