We expect that business life will be made more flexible.

Covid-19 has had an impact on the socio-economic structures of all countries. At Santa Farma, we encouraged our employees at the head office to work from home. We encouraged our employees at the production plant to do the same to the extent possible. We started to hold online meetings.

As a pharmaceutical company, we are operating in a strategic industry. Therefore, we continued to perform production activities without interruption. We took necessary measures at the plant and informed our employees accordingly. Meanwhile, our employees obeyed all applicable rules by acting responsibly.  

Business methods and practices will totally change    

In the short term, we expect that business life will be made more flexible. Matters related to health and hygiene have become more important than ever. As a result of the pandemic, digital infrastructure has gained importance in new generation organizations. In our company, digitalization has played a vital role in sustainment of our business efforts. This shall be the case in both short- and long-term. If the pandemic continues to affect the world, it will create a remarkable change in the business methods and practices of all corporations in the long run. Still, this change will depend on the progress of the pandemic and the potential damage it will create.
