EROL KİRESEPİ ATTENDS THE FOURTH JOINT DIALOGUE FORUM

Organized under the “Sustainability in Working Life” by TİSK and TİSK Microsurgery Foundation for the fourth time this year with a view to bringing together the representatives of public institutions, workers and employers as the three pillars of business life, the Joint Dialogue Forum "OPF 2022" was held physically with the high level participation of international organizations on October 13. IOE Honorary President Erol Kiresepi, who addressed the participants in the International Organisations part of the Forum, took attention to the deep impact of digitalization and green transformation processes which are known as twin transformation on communities and business in recent years before and went on to underline that twin transformation made sustainability of workforce an important matter that should be given consideration urgently. Before concluding his speech, IOE Honorary President noted that the pandemic created a disproportionate disadvantage for women as the employment of women dropped by 5% as opposed to a 3.9% decrease in the employment of men in 2020 and indicated that a sustainable workforce means providing equal opportunity for women and men at the same time.

Having explained that he was personally involved in the development of “Global Women Empowerment Platform”, a B20 initiative intended to promote collaboration for this purpose and increase the effect of different initiatives through empowerment of local actors, Mr Erol Kiresepi made a call to the parties and concluded his speech by adding, “I hope to receive your support for Global Women Empowerment Platform and believe we can do this together.”
